For SR20DET owners who want to further improve the performance of the stock exhaust manifold, the RSE exhaust manifold is now available.

It can be installed on a genuine turbo or a genuine position replacement type external turbo without special processing. The pipe layout is designed as an unequal length type similar to the stock exhaust manifold. This is because, as a result of the prototype test, we have come to the conclusion that the uniform length type is superior to the stock layout in a very limited area in SR20DET, and that the stock layout design is better overall.

1. Outstanding Turbine Response

By adopting an unequal length layout and connecting the head to the turbine at a short distance, excellent turbine response is achieved because the exhaust gas energy reaches the turbine without weakening.

2. Outlet design considering ignition sequence

 

The ignition order of the SR20DET is 1-3-4-2. A dividing plate is installed in the center of the exhaust manifold outlet to allow exhaust gases to flow in order from the left and right along the ignition order, preventing interference in the assembly area and guiding a smooth flow to the turbine side.

3. Support Bracket

The flange on the head side and the flange on the turbine side are reinforced with a support bracket to prevent cracking due to vibration, etc.

 

4. Titanium Bandage

It is heat resistant up to 1200°C and effectively suppresses heat dissipation of more than 90%. By reducing heat dissipation in the engine compartment, it prevents the rise in intake air temperature, oil temperature, and water temperature, contributing to the extraction of more power from the engine.
