The L15C engine in the new Civic 1.5 Turbo delivers 182PS despite being only 1.5L, and is characterized by its strong torque from low to medium speeds. SPOON has been developing an exhaust system to further improve this high torque and responsiveness. The main pipe is made of SUS304 material with a diameter of _60, and the tailpipe uses a _127 bullet-shaped dual silencer with a _65 finisher. This achieves both a high-quality N1 sound and improved exhaust efficiency.
Similar to the CIVIC TYPE R (FK8), increasing the diameter of the front pipe is essential to pursue even higher output and torque through ECU tuning such as boost-up. A 60_ front pipe has also been developed as part of the set.
