The Spoon Front Lower Cross Beam bar stiffens the subframe and protects the oil pan. The S2000 chassis rigidity is very high, but the rigidity of the subframe body, which is the key to the suspension, is found to be a weak point. SPOON have developed a bar that reinforces the front and rear openings as a truss structure with a reinforcing material without reinforcing the subframe body in order to further improve performance with a high-quality ride without compromising the handling characteristics. On test circuits and or normal road driving, thhe cross beam bar enhances driving performance.
