🔥 FR-S / 86 / BRZ──Exhaust design and performance have been refined with each generation.
The 86/BRZ/FR-S are divided into the following specifications for each generation.
First generation: ZN6 (TOYOTA 86 / FR-S) / ZC6 (SUBARU BRZ)
New generation: ZN8 (TOYOTA GR86) / ZD8 (SUBARU BRZ)

There are a total of six types, offering a wide range of options. In this article, we will systematically summarize the differences between the newly released Single Type-80 Ver.3 and previous models, as well as the reasons for its development.
1. A new challenge: generation compatibility and latest model optimization.
The TYPE-80 Ver.1, which was released for the original ZN6/ZC6, was an exceptionally big hit model, selling over 10,000 units worldwide.
Ver.1 can be installed on GR86/ZD8,
-Bumper clearance is not optimal
・The amount of protrusion varies depending on the vehicle.
・The outer diameter of the silencer poses a risk of interference.
This caused the problem of it not being a perfect fit .
In response to these requests, RSE has created Ver.3,
a new model that is a redesigned version of Ver.1 optimized specifically for the FA24 .
2. Development philosophy: "The Art of Single"
RSE's exhaust design has always had an unwavering philosophy.
That is, to pursue the "most rational solution" according to the layout.
Among them, the single layout represented by the TYPE-80 is one answer that has pursued the following idea:
The phrase that expresses this philosophy is "The Art of Single."
However, this does not mean that it is "better than dual." RSE designs both single and dual in the optimal form depending on the vehicle characteristics, use, and desired feel .
Singles have their own philosophy, while duals have their own performance and tuning that should be pursued. Among them, the Single TYPE-80 series is positioned as "one beautiful answer when it comes to perfecting the single format."

Ver.3 has 10 to 20mm more protrusion
The silencer is smaller, so the volume is slightly increased.
*Ver.1 is recommended for FA20 (as it fits most naturally)
It is compatible with all of these and can flexibly accommodate future power upgrades.
