Spoon has been developing the S660 at every stage of its development process to further enhance its sporty performance.
One of the key areas of development has been the exhaust system, which has undergone numerous tests to match various engine specifications.
The S07A engine, despite its 660cc capacity, delivers ample dynamic performance even in stock form. However, optimizing exhaust efficiency became essential when further power-ups were achieved through ECU tuning, such as boost adjustments.
To maximize torque and power on both stock and ECU-tuned vehicles, we designed a 50mm diameter center pipe and a 60mm diameter main pipe with a megaphone-shaped design. By optimizing the layout, we achieved improved mid- to high-speed output without sacrificing low-speed torque.
We used 1.2mm thick SUS436 pipes, ensuring sufficient strength while maintaining a lightweight finish.
The finisher, a 65mm diameter single pipe, a hallmark of the SPOON N1 muffler, combines safety regulations with a premium N1 sound.
